HOW IT WORKS
We begin by massaging the selected muscle groups to help them relax and become more receptive to the cupping therapy. Once your muscles are prepared, cups will be placed on the targeted areas in need of treatment. Depending on your needs, we use Glide, Static, or Flash cupping techniques.
While cupping may cause slight discomfort, it is not painful. The therapy is designed to target tension and improve circulation, leaving you feeling more relaxed and rejuvenated.
ORIGIN
Dry cupping combined with massage has ancient roots, originating in traditional healing practices across various cultures, including Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European medicine. Historically, cupping therapy was used to promote circulation, relieve pain, and improve overall health. By applying suction to the skin, this method helps draw blood to the surface, which enhances healing and detoxification. When integrated with massage, cupping therapy becomes even more effective by targeting deep muscle tension, improving flexibility, and fostering relaxation. This blend of techniques has been used for centuries to restore balance and well-being in the body.
Massage therapy can be performed on most people providing they don't have any symptoms on the contraindication list.

When it comes to Myofascial Release (Cupping Therapy) our go to method is definitely fire cupping. Not only do you get the added benefits from the heat on your muscles as a source of pain relief and relaxation, but the results are more effective, and the treatment is more comfortable overall. The downside to all Cupping Therapy treatments are the marks that develop due to the rush in blood to those areas. These marks last a couple days up to a week.
If you have an upcoming event where the skin will be exposed, you may want to schedule the treatment accordingly.
